Elsewhere: Google Browser Size

Google Browser Size is a visualization of browser window sizes for people who visit Google. To view your own Web site with this same visualization overlaid on it, simply type its URL into the “Enter URL here” textbox at the top of the window and click Go.

As I said on the Google Code Blog comments, I can’t see that this is enormously useful in its current guise, The statistics vary too much from audience to audience. Our principle audience seems to browse in notably larger browser windows than this would indicate.

By combining it with Analytics they could have a very useful visualisation tool, we occasionally do some tracking of browser dimensions using Events and a quick method of producing a graphic overlay from these results would be great.

I think it should allow scrolling and detect “centered” designs
