The cocoa is produced by small-scale farmers from Fundacion Familia Salesiana Salinas in the forests of Ecuador, using simple natural tools in a process that conserves the country's delicate and complex eco-systems. No pesticides or manufactured fertilisers are used.
Italian artisans then skillfully combine the ingredients to make this mouth-watering chocolate.
