The Z-Index CSS Property: A Comprehensive Look

A half-decent CSS z-index primer but one that (again) misses one of the most important facets of z-index, that when you create a positioning context (by applying the position property to an element), you create a new instance of normal flow and therefore a new, independent stacking order.
