Fabulous website design for fascinating people

For seventeen years, household brand names, charities, government organisations and businesses, large and small, have trusted us to design their visual identities, websites and other digital applications.

Code Enigma’s logo mark tones

We decided to make Code Enigma’s logo mark from tones of a single colour, rather than use several colours as their previous mark had done. Giving them the ability to change colour made it possible to place their logo on different background colours and images.

Code Enigma’s logo mark colours

To maintain familiarity with Code Enigma’s previous logo mark, we reworked their colours and experimented with a dozen different combinations.

Website design for Code Enigma

Code Enigma are a team of experienced Drupal developers whose clients include The Economist, ITV, Le Figaro and Wellcome Trust. They asked us to design a new visual identity and website templates for their company. We delivered branding assets and responsive HTML/CSS website templates, ready for integration by their developers.

Designing Code Enigma’ logo mark shapes

After experimenting with paper for Code Enigma’s logo mark, we made dozens of potential new ‘puzzle’ shapes before we found one with the right balance of positive and negative space.

Code Enigma’ logo mark is a puzzle

To redesign Code Enigma’s logo mark, we first explored its deconstructed shapes to determine the most pleasing new combination. Using shapes cut from cardboard was a simple way to create dozens of possible combinations.
