Stuff & Nonsense product and website design

Blog and all that malarkey

Nominated for Agency Of The Year at the Net Magazine awards 2014

It’s once again that time of year when almost every web designer, developer, podcaster and bottle washer that you follow on Twitter is asking you to vote for them in the annual Net Awards. Well, if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.

To be honest I’ve never been much interested in awards, personally or professionally. But this year I feel different about them and I genuinely think that we deserve a shout at Agency of the Year.

This is our fifteenth year designing websites for clients. We’ve stayed in business through turbulent times for the industry, seen the rise of web standards and responsive design, and lived through two recessions. Throughout that time we’ve shared our knowledge on this blog and in other places and I think, from what people tell me, that’s inspired a good many designers and developers. I think that this past year we’ve done some of our best work ever. I’m prouder of it than anything we’ve made in the past.

So if you’ve enjoyed coming here, if you’ve used my Contract Killer or Universal IE CSS, Rock Hammer or 320 and Up or anything else I’ve shared over the years, please consider voting for us.

You would make a happy man very old.
