I’ve used variations of Andy's Contract Killer contract for years and it's a delight to find there's an updated version. Strongly recommend giving Andy money for this.

Jess Rose

Clients have the peace of knowing their rights and responsibilities in clear, simple terms. For me it has protected against scope creep and means I have enforceable terms and conditions. Love this product!

Shane

What an excellent product this is. Absolutely built for humans to understand, which is a beautiful concept.

Stuart B

I first used Contract Killer in 2013 and it was a breath of fresh air over the “sooperwurdy” legalese that prevailed at the time.

The contract trusted by web designers since 2008

I first published Contract Killer in 2008 to help freelance web designers start projects with greater confidence. Since then, it’s been downloaded and used by thousands of agencies, designers, developers around the world.

I spent years watching freelancers make the same mistakes I’d made. Projects started with vague emails, expectations drifted, payment terms were unclear, and the scope shifted until nobody remembered what had originally been agreed.

I wanted a contract written in plain English that reflected the way web professionals actually work. I’ve been designing websites professionally since 1998. Contract Killer contains the agreement I wish I’d had when I started.

What customers say

Contract Killer was immensely helpful when creating my own contract. I’ve recommended it to many people looking to create their own contracts.

Mike Riley, USA

My relationships with clients have been so much healthier since I implemented my version of the Contract Killer.

Neil Hainsworth, UK

Finally, a contract that speaks like a human. My clients actually read it, and thanked me for sending it.

Stephanie Wigan, Australia

It’s saved me hours of back-and-forth. I send it, they sign it, and we get to work.

Harry Swindon, Canada
