Steve Faulkner asks for more discussion on the removal of ‹time› and the
pubdate attribute from HTML5 (it’s been replaced by the far less useful ‹data› and
value. He’s right too.
And if HTML5 is supposed to build standards around existing usage, how come the fact that many sites — including the HTML5 poster child Boston Globe and potentially millions using the default WordPress theme — has been ignored?
