Why you need a killer web design proposal and how to write one

Whether you’re a designer, developer, or another type of web professional, successful client projects all begin with a killer proposal. While web design project proposals have no set format, effective proposals all outline the brief, deliverables and scope, timelines, and costs.

The biggest update to Contract Killer since Contract Killer

When I first shared my Contract Killer in 2008, I had no idea so many people would use it. It became the most visited page on my website. After being free for thirteen years, in 2021 Contract Killer became a paid-for template. Now, there’s an update, the biggest since 2008.

Unfinished Business episode 28: You can’t keep a pistol in a Kinder egg

Finally, yes finally, Anna and I get around to the first of two, maybe three, episodes about contacts. We talk about the ‘ Contract Killer,’ why we think it’s important to always use a contract and why some people think otherwise. We discuss the essential elements that should go into every contract and why, on top of any legal benefits, how a good contract says a lot about how you do business and why writing yours should be a creative challenge you should relish. (Don’t miss the gag wheel and ice-cream banter after the show. It’s a scorcher.)
